A free app for Android, by Yoann Renard.
Boxing Timer for beginners and for experienced boxers as well. The app has five different modes: the basic, advanced, professional, and sports mode. The sports mode has a tabata option. It also has a tabata timer for beginners.
In the advanced mode, there is a program for one minute, which is a little bit longer than the professional mode. In the professional mode, you can set the length of the workout and also the number of rounds and seconds per round. In the basic mode, the program is for 60 seconds.
The app has a simple design. There are four buttons on the screen. The first button is for the start, the second one is for the pause, the third one is for the resume, and the last one is for the stop. There is also a small indicator that shows the current round number.
The tabata option has two options:
You can choose between the classic tabata or the modern tabata.
The classic tabata has a one-minute interval. The interval is not a multiple of five seconds, but it is a multiple of four seconds.
The modern tabata has a one-minute interval and a five-second rest between each round.
